Reichel Architects is a Zurich based architectural studio with a focus on planning and construction economics.
Reichel Architects covers all aspects of planning and building with its diverse competencies: from the very first idea to its realization. Through a close dialogue with the owners and actors in the construction process, the resulting buildings are characterized by the transfer of knowledge and experience.
Reform was commissioned to design a new brand identity that reflects the values of «empathy, genius loci, scale, sustainability and professionalism».
In exploring the history and characteristics of the studio, we have been inspired by the approach «Genius loci – spirit of place», which addresses the particularities and stories of each location. The design concept is based on the idea of staging the interaction and interplay of spaces to visualize the exchange between the actors in the construction process.
The result is a brandmark that changes and defines its shape individually according to the situation. In combination with the characteristic typography and a fresh, natural color palette, we created a vibrant appearance that reflects the diverse competencies of the architectural studio.
